Since 2012, Sprouts supporters have helped hundreds of young people secure culinary jobs. Donating time and expertise, Sprouts' mentor chefs, volunteers, and partners have changed lives within their communities.
Calling all chefs and restauranteurs! When you volunteer as a Chef Mentor, we match you with an intern for 2-3 months of training to give you extra support in your kitchen.
What to Expect
Interns between 16-26 years old
12-20 hours of shifts per week
Teach culinary basics

The Chef Training program teaches them accountability, it teaches them responsibility and it gives them a real skill that they can lean on throughout their life.
Being a chef is a responsibility. It is the responsibility of transferring information from one generation to another.

We're always looking for talented people to join our team and share their time and expertise as volunteers. We look forward to learning more about you!
This is the perfect opportunity to gain experience and add to your portfolio. We rely on high-quality, professional photo and video documentation to express our narrative to our community. You’ll shoot events and training sessions in some of the city's finest restaurants and edit and organize images to share with the Sprouts team. This is a great way to get your name out as a photographer or videographer professional and to be credited and published in online articles, magazines, and blogs.

Description
We’re looking for volunteers who are eager to work behind-the-scenes to help run culinary events with industry icons. Sample tasks include guest registration, coat check, passing apps, pouring drinks, bussing dishes, and assisting kitchen staff.
Time Commitment
8-10 hours onsite at the events of your choice
Description
Join our events team to ideate, research, and reach out to sponsors, local businesses, and in-kind donors to support our culinary fundraisers. This role plays is an integral part in creating the auction line-up for events with culinary icons!

3 months, 4-8 hours a week, remote
