On November 1st, some of the Bay Area’s most influential women in food will come together for a night celebrating their talent, leadership, and the next generation of chefs. And you’re invited. Sprouts Chef Training’s Annual Gala, featuring Powerful Women in Food, brings together an extraordinary lineup of chefs, hospitality leaders, sommeliers, and community champions - with honorary guests Alice Waters of Chez Panisse and Debby Soo, CEO of OpenTable. Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Liam Mayclem will lead the evening’s live auction and fundraising program. But this night is about more than an exceptional dinner. Every seat helps fuel our work empowering youth facing economic hardship with culinary training, mentorship, and a path to meaningful employment.

Sprouts equips youth to rise from hardship through culinary training and job placement. Youth are paired with a chef mentor and case manager to develop the skills needed to secure and maintain a culinary job. Graduates use these entry-level jobs to kickstart culinary careers, pay for education, or pursue new industries.
