Since 2012, Sprouts supporters have helped hundreds of young people secure culinary jobs. Donating time and expertise, Sprouts' mentor chefs, volunteers, and partners have changed lives within their communities.

"By funding a career tonight, you’re forging a brighter future not just for the individual your donation goes to, but for all of us."
Of Intern Rafael Arechiga: "Although Rafael didn't come from the nicest neighborhood, it was nice to see that he finally found a home in the kitchen. I can tell that the kitchen means a lot more than a job to Rafael because he's cooking for more than just himself."
The Chef Training program teaches them accountability, it teaches them responsibility and it gives them a real skill that they can lean on throughout their life.
“I can’t think of a better way to invest in everyone’s future, than by investing in the training of youth to become the thoughtful leaders and productive workers of tomorrow.”
“The Sprouts mission is pretty simple, yet aims for robust results… [Sprouts Chef Training] strives to teach Bay Area kids and teens from all social and economic backgrounds not just how to cook, but also how to cook with hands-on guidance from real chefs, using honest ingredients and in real restaurants as much as possible.”
Of Intern Katelyn Neroza: "She was just really enthusiastic to be in a kitchen and taking a step towards her goals, her end goals."
We're always looking for talented people to join our team and share their time and expertise as volunteers. We look forward to learning more about you!
