To have an organization like Sprouts, that can really start you at the bottom of the ladder, but get you step-by-step an opportunity of working in different restaurants... it was not easy for [these youth] before. So, it can go only one way: up from now on.

Being a chef is a responsibility. It is the responsibility of transferring information from one generation to another.

I am so supportive of their Chef Training program, which works to bring youth into our restaurants and organic farms, one youth, one restaurant, and one farm at a time.

Of Intern Kika Eller: "Kika really blossomed in the kitchen. She would get creative in the kitchen. It was amazing to have Kika. She kept growing and mastering new skills. I can't wait to see what she does with her career."
