In this video, one of our very own Chef Trainees, Christina, shares one of her favorite recipes: Shrimp Ceviche!
As a Sprouts Chef Trainee, Christina has been mastering culinary skills and dishes at Boulevard, a renowned restaurant on San Francisco's Embarcadero waterfront.
Shrimp ceviche is a popular Latin American dish made with raw shrimp marinated in citrus juices, herbs, and other seasonings. The acid from the citrus juice cooks the shrimp, giving it a slightly opaque appearance and a firm texture. Below, you'll find a quick and easy recipe to make shrimp ceviche at home.
In this video, you'll cook with Christina, a Sprouts Chef Training graduate.
This shrimp ceviche recipe is perfect for an easy and healthy weeknight meal or as a party appetizer. In this video, Christina uses lime juice, chili serrano, and cilantro to flavor her ceviche. Experiment with different types of citrus juices (lemon, lime, even a splash of orange juice), peppers (jalapenos, for example), or herbs to make this dish your own.
